As sewer is being mapped and if we have as-built plans or pavement markings indicating where bends, tees, caps, or other node features are located, these are mapped in the GIS system. Most nodes have not yet been mapped.
Nodes were mapped from a variety of sources in a variety of manners. Some nodes were gathered using either a survey grade or mapping grade GPS unit, while others were drawn in using as-builts or approved plans.
